Rokucha is a self-initiated project to explore and expand my skills within the food packaging and Art Direction world. The goal was to create a unique refreshing beverage concept that appeals to the German market with authentic and relatable Japanese elements. More and more people are getting deep into Japanese culture, so the hook of Japanese tea & juicy fruit may grab the attention of a customer group that previously hadn’t been interested in soda at all.

rokuchaは、フードパッケージとアートディレクションの分野で自分のスキルを探求し、広げるために自発的に立ち上げたプロジェクトです。目的は、ドイツ市場に向けて、日本らしさを“本物として”感じられ、かつ親しみやすい要素を取り入れた、ユニークで爽快な飲料コンセプトを作ることでした。日本文化に深く惹かれる人が増える中で、「日本茶×ジューシーなフルーツ」というフックは、これまでソーダに興味がなかった層にも響き、手に取るきっかけになると考えています。

The project serves as a way to show the mix of skills and taste I have acquired throughout my journey in design so far. Graphics in Adobe Illustrator, a 3D can modelled in Rhino, rendered in KeyShot, enhanced with Photoshop and set into scene with the help of AI.

“Von der Farm zum Mood.”

The tagline for this project is “From the farm to mood.” to highlight the authentic origin of the teas sourced from Japanese farms, linked to the modern world with a touch of fruit that lets the tea enter a new world of summer-time refreshment. The images all aim to capture this summertime/farm vibe, for people who value the quality of something authentic.
